Jack Levari
Vineland Dolphin Swim Team

Jack began his swimming career at Dolphin some 14 years ago as a Dolphin kickboarder. Wasn’t long before he joined the “regular” team. Right from the start, Jack loved relays. He’d often give-up individual events to be in a relay. Jack attended Saint Augustine Prep, swimming all four years and graduating as the Class Salutatorian. His swimming accomplishments include: four-time CAPE ALL STAR AND FOUR TIME NJSIAA MOC qualifier. Jack was Team Captain his senior year. At the US level, he was a Junior National Qualifier in the 200-yard butterfly. At the Prep Jack was a member of the National Honor Society. One of his fondest memories is being a member of the 13-14 record shattering 200-meter free relay at Championships. (He doesn’t mention that he also was high point winner on several occasions at SSA Championships.) He has this to say to his Team: “Enjoy your time with the Team. The friends that you make swimming become more like family as time goes on.” Coach has this to say: Jack’s an outstanding gentleman and Team role model. He is a leader by example. Yes, he’s a great swimmer, but that pales in comparison to the manners and respect he has shown his coaches and teammates over the years. Jack will be attending Virginia Tech in the Fall majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Good luck Jack.
