Isabella Mateo started swimming for the Larchmont Barracudas in 2009 when she was 7 years old and has been swimming competitively for over 10 years. During the winter season, she swam for PRSC, SJAC, and finally MLY Phoenix. A graduate of Moorestown High School, Isabella was a 4 year varsity letter holder for the girls swim team and a member of the 3-time state championship winning team which she led as a captain her senior year. This past fall, she began studying at the University of Pittsburgh where she is majoring in Neuroscience and Spanish. Isabella would like to thank the many coaches she has had over the years, including coaches Joe, Anita, and CJ for helping her become the confident and dedicated swimmer she is today. She would also like to thank her family for their ongoing support over the years and her friends for making summers at Larchmont so unforgettable.
