Abigail Miller has been swimming with the Peachwood Pirates for 11 years. She began her swimming journey with Peachwood at 7 years old and eventually also swam with Tide Water Aquatics Club and Kingsway High School. Abby holds several Peachwood records and 2 Suburban Swim Association League records. Through Kingsway swimming, Abby received the Bill Maschke Scholar-Athlete Award from SJISA, recognizing her academic and swimming accomplishments, as well as her leadership and service. One of the most fulfilling aspects of swimming for Abby has been participating in Tide Water Adaptive Aquatics, sharing her love of swim and teaching water safety. As part of Peachwood, she has always enjoyed teaching basic swim skills to younger children and stroke technique to teammates. Abby plans to continue her academic and swimming journey at Tufts University in the fall. Abby would like to thank her “swim fam” for all of the cheering and support they have given her over these many years, as well as her actual family for their part in her journey. Above all, a big THANK YOU to the coaches who have helped her with more than just swimming, bringing her to where she is today.
