Tarnsfield Torpedo Swim Team

Becky has been a Torpedo since she was just 4 years old. Growing up as a Torpedo, Becky grew up at the swim club. Becky graduated from Burlington Township High School, where she was heavily involved in school activities, including Interact and Key Clubs, American Sign Language Club, the Positivity Club, the National Honors Society, the vocal jazz program, and the International Thespian Society. In addition, Becky was elected president of the International Thespian Society her senior year.  Some of Becky’s favorite memories at Tarnsfield include the circle cheer, cheering from the end of the pool at home meets, and interacting with the younger swimmers on the team. She began to volunteer with the developmental swimmers at 13 years old, and is now the Developmental coach for the team. Becky will be furthering her education at West Chester University, majoring in Communication Sciences and Disorders, in hopes to be accepted to the five year Master’s program to pursue speech pathology. Becky would like to thank her friends and family, especially her sister and brother, who constantly pushed her as a swimmer and a person, in and out of the pool. Becky would also like to thank her teammates and Coaches Jake, Sam, and Bree for keeping her included as she has not been able to swim for the past 3 years due to a shoulder injury. The team and coaching staff have really shown what Tarnsfield is all about, being kind and having fun.

Becky will always have a place for Tarnsfield in her heart and will never forget the friends and memories she has made. Go Torpedoes and Rams Up!!
